📋 Description
• Play a pivotal role in developing and scaling an accounting organization • Direct and drive the monthly close process, quarterly and annual reporting • Ensure company compliance with US GAAP and accounting policies/procedures • Establish and enhance internal control environment • Manage month end close process and review variances • Oversee general ledger account reconciliation process • Serve as key contact for internal and external audit • Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial statements • Lead cross-functional collaboration with finance, tax, treasury, legal, and operations teams • Build, lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team • Spearhead ERP system optimization and automation initiatives • Stay ahead of accounting trends and industry best practices
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) • 15+ years of progressive accounting experience in complex organizations • Experience with debt and equity transactions, asset/business sales, acquisitions • Strong expertise in ERP systems (preferably SAP, Oracle, or similar) • Proven track record of leading large-scale accounting operations • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities • Hands-on experience with financial and enterprise-wide transformation projects
