📋 Description

• Help Air Force Research Laboratory’s Department of the Air Force in executing communication strategies, content creation, and strategic planning. • Support and implement communication strategies to support organizational goals. • Develop engaging and high-quality content and marketing products for various platforms, including social media, press releases, reports, etc. for inreach and outreach. • Manage the organization’s content calendar to ensure timely and consistent communication. • Provide technical writing support, editing and proof-reading high-quality written materials. • Build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and media contacts to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across all channels. • Monitor industry trends and audience insights to refine strategies and keep communications fresh, relevant, and effective. • Assess and analyze communications efforts, providing data-driven insights to inform future strategies. • Align communication efforts with organizational goals, ensuring that messaging supports and enhances strategic initiatives. • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather insights and translate them into cohesive, impactful messaging.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field. • Skill in extending narratives across various media channels to achieve communication goals and objectives. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and evaluation techniques to measure the impact and effectiveness of communication efforts. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to think critically and make decisions autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. • Proficiency in digital communication tools and Microsoft Office Suite. • Basic photography and graphic creation skills preferred. • Ability to travel is required. • Secret clearance required. • 5+ years of experience in program management, or related field, preferably within a military or government context.
