• The Director of Sales is responsible for ensuring delivery of core business goals - delivering incremental sales and helping the team to foster trusting relationships that can be leveraged in the future. • They are responsible for leading the sales team and ongoing processes at a regional level. • This person will be the lead for ongoing strategic planning and communication. • They must be skilled at establishing and maintaining relationships, problem solving and finding creative solutions for unique obstacles. • The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading a team of sales managers and must work closely with them to drive revenue, develop go-to-market strategies, and establish and meet individual performance goals.
• A demonstrated competency in multi-tasking and problem-solving with focus on meeting deadlines • Strong analytical and strategic thinker; can turn self-developed strategies/efficient processes into execution • Extremely organized and detail-oriented • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Experience selling product direct to retailers and across multiple categories throughout the store • Experience working with both National and Regional distributors • Experience managing and planning trade spend • Advanced communications skills, ability to clearly articulate complex concepts in a concise manner and establish rapport quickly • Bachelor’s degree required • 7+ years of experience in a sales function required • Experience in a people leadership position
