β€’ We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our accounting team with tasks related to payment processing, cash receipts, accounts payable, and general administrative duties. β€’ The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks, Office 365, and PrismHR, possess strong organizational skills, and have a keen eye for accuracy. β€’ Enter and record customer payments and cash receipts accurately in the accounting system. β€’ Manage accounts payable, including entering, verifying, and reconciling vendor invoices. β€’ File and organize financial records, invoices, and other relevant paperwork. β€’ Perform basic administrative tasks, including handling emails and document management. β€’ Reconcile account balances, ensure the accuracy of transaction records, and report discrepancies as needed. β€’ Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end close processes. β€’ Utilize QuickBooks, Office 365, and PrismHR for data entry, reporting, and other accounting functions. β€’ Maintain a high level of confidentiality with all financial and vendor information.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred. β€’ 3+ years of experience in an accounting or administrative role, with a focus on accounts payable. β€’ Proficiency in QuickBooks, Office 365, and familiarity with PrismHR. β€’ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. β€’ Good organizational and time management skills. β€’ Ability to work independently and with a team. β€’ Experience handling confidential financial information. β€’ Familiarity with other accounting software or databases is a plus. β€’ Strong written communication skills and a professional demeanor.
