• We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our accounting team with tasks related to payment processing, cash receipts, accounts payable, and general administrative duties. • The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks, Office 365, and PrismHR, possess strong organizational skills, and have a keen eye for accuracy. • Enter and record customer payments and cash receipts accurately in the accounting system. • Manage accounts payable, including entering, verifying, and reconciling vendor invoices. • File and organize financial records, invoices, and other relevant paperwork. • Perform basic administrative tasks, including handling emails and document management. • Reconcile account balances, ensure the accuracy of transaction records, and report discrepancies as needed. • Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end close processes. • Utilize QuickBooks, Office 365, and PrismHR for data entry, reporting, and other accounting functions. • Maintain a high level of confidentiality with all financial and vendor information.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred. • 3+ years of experience in an accounting or administrative role, with a focus on accounts payable. • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Office 365, and familiarity with PrismHR. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. • Good organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and with a team. • Experience handling confidential financial information. • Familiarity with other accounting software or databases is a plus. • Strong written communication skills and a professional demeanor.
