Description

β€’ As the Lead Project Manager -Transit, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects focused on transitioning transit fleets to zero-emission technologies. β€’ This role requires an individual with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects within scope, on schedule, and within budget. β€’ You will work closely with transit agencies, industry stakeholders, and cross-functional teams within CALSTART to coordinate resources and drive successful project outcomes. β€’ Key responsibilities include managing project plans, tracking progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring deliverables meet high standards of quality and sustainability. β€’ Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential to manage multiple projects that further our mission of advancing zero-emission transit solutions across the U.S.

Requirements

β€’ Demonstrated experience in project management, with a record of delivering projects on time and within budget, preferably in transit, energy, or environmental sectors. β€’ Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently. β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders as well as present on solutions and advancements around zero-emission transportation. β€’ A sound working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office and project management solutions such as Monday. β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues, assess risk, and develop innovative solutions. β€’ Familiarity with zero-emission technologies and transit agency operations is highly desirable.
