Description

• As the Lead Project Manager -Transit, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects focused on transitioning transit fleets to zero-emission technologies. • This role requires an individual with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects within scope, on schedule, and within budget. • You will work closely with transit agencies, industry stakeholders, and cross-functional teams within CALSTART to coordinate resources and drive successful project outcomes. • Key responsibilities include managing project plans, tracking progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring deliverables meet high standards of quality and sustainability. • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential to manage multiple projects that further our mission of advancing zero-emission transit solutions across the U.S.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in project management, with a record of delivering projects on time and within budget, preferably in transit, energy, or environmental sectors. • Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders as well as present on solutions and advancements around zero-emission transportation. • A sound working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office and project management solutions such as Monday. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues, assess risk, and develop innovative solutions. • Familiarity with zero-emission technologies and transit agency operations is highly desirable.
