Description
• Lead strategic and operational management of global logistics for energy storage projects • Drive logistics excellence across supply chain for timely delivery of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) • Oversee project pipeline and continuously optimize logistics processes • Develop long-term logistics strategies and manage partnerships • Ensure compliance with international trade and transportation regulations
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field; advanced degree preferred • Extensive experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) • Strong knowledge of Smart Sheets, cloud-based software, and logistics tools (TMS, WMS) • Expertise in battery energy storage systems logistics • Familiarity with Hazmat and lithium battery transport regulations • Strong technical skills and advanced Excel capabilities • Proven ability to develop and manage large-scale RFP processes • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills • Strong understanding of trade regulations and customs compliance • Willingness to travel globally (15-20%)
