• This position is responsible for providing insights and recommendations to the National Accounts team to optimize, distribution, shelving, pricing and promotion by analyzing syndicated and internal data. • This position will analyze and assess category, competitive and portfolio performance for all Monster Brewing breweries. • Develops and maintains monthly performance report for the Monster Brewing collective portfolio as well as analysis and insights on industry trends. • Works in partnership with Marketing and the VP of National Accounts to develop retailer specific strategies. • Assists in building fact-based, solution-oriented presentations for National Account sales calls. • Participates in key National Account calls with assigned National Account managers to present category management strategies. • Provides post-promotion analysis and recommendations for specific retail programs, ads, displays and pricing. • Understands company revenue and profit targets per customer and assist National Accounts team in building annual plans to meet and exceed these targets. • Supports the company’s executive leadership with needed information regarding the state of the business to facilitate decision making. • Communicates the status of the business to the VP of National Accounts on a weekly basis. • Manages T&E budget per company policies. • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of MS Office programs, as well syndicated and consumer data. • Knowledge and experience with business process development and continuous improvement in the managing of day to day business. • Skill in data manipulation and analytics. • Skill in organization, communication, and inter-personal dynamics. • Skill in people management and strong interpersonal skills to relate cross-functionally in a fast-paced business environment (control without authority). • Ability to act strategically and tactically in the performance of the job. • Ability to demonstrate multi-tasking and prioritizing workload while keeping quality and time constraints in check. • Ability to manage and measure workload for self and keep senior management abreast of all issues/developments. • Ability to demonstrate strong communication ethic in getting back to customers, suppliers and internal company personnel. • Ability to develop and interpret reports evaluating the performance of business functions and initiatives. • Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. • Required to frequently lift and move 10-15 pounds. • Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
