πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ The purpose of this position is to spread the message of the restored Church of Jesus Christ around the world. β€’ This position is a part of the Publishing Services Department (PSD) of the Church. β€’ The Asset Manager fulfills this role by managing born digital media files, ingesting media into various PSD systems, preparing them for editing and other post-production workflows. β€’ This Music Asset Manager 3 position is housed within the Scripture and Music Production Division. β€’ The asset manager would responsibly manage and maintain files and prepare approved materials for publishing.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in information or archival management, museum studies, library science, audio or multimedia production, or related field, and at least four years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. β€’ Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of digital asset management; understanding of best practices in related field. β€’ Detail-oriented, with an ability to notice small details within assets, which may impact publishing systems later in the pipeline. β€’ Able to quickly understand how several complex systems/databases work together. β€’ Previous work in a music or multimedia production setting, quality control, library/archives or other relevant experience with organizing, editing & sorting data, and using spreadsheets and databases is preferred. β€’ Intermediate understanding of database organization and/or advanced archival processes. β€’ Able to apply sound judgment and leadership on large, complicated projects. β€’ Ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects/responsibilities at once and keep on schedule. β€’ Demonstrated communication skills. β€’ Familiarity with the issues surrounding copyright, rights of image, and rights relating to the creation and distribution of information, imagery, and other licensed materials. β€’ Proven understanding of media technical specifications, and digital production tools and processes. β€’ Software awareness and proficiency with the following would be desirable: Adobe Experience Manager, Nuxeo, Brightspot, Oxygen XML editor/comparable XML editor.
