β€’ Collaborate with Operations, Technology, and vendor teams to design, deploy, and support network infrastructure for large-scale assessment venues, including wireless LANs. β€’ Provide subject matter expertise in network and security technologies, including routing, switching, wireless, and firewalls in a multi-vendor environment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet). β€’ Analyze wireless deployment in hotel/conference centers and work with vendors to ensure proper RF channel and management, and capacity planning for optimal performance of wireless networks. β€’ Coordinate troubleshooting issues related to wireless networks during SAT administrations. β€’ Coordinate with multiple vendors to execute temporary wireless deployments in diverse environments, such as hotels and conference centers. β€’ Contribute technical knowledge to readiness communications, web content, and customer service resources to support smooth operations. β€’ Review and provide content for customer service knowledge bases and training materials, enabling effective resolution of network-related issues. β€’ Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure proper routing and resolution of production issues. β€’ Contribute to strategic initiatives that aim to expand our test center availability.

Requirements

β€’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering and operations, preferably in a large enterprise or service provider environment. β€’ Strong knowledge of network and security technologies, including routing, switching, wireless, and firewalls in a multi-vendor environment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet). β€’ Current CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CompTIA Network+, CWNP (Certified Wireless Network Professional) or comparable certifications. β€’ Solid understanding of the OSI model and Layer 2, 3, 4 protocols, as well as security standards. β€’ Hands-on experience designing and deploying wireless LANs. β€’ In-depth understanding of Wi-Fi standards and protocols, including 802.11 a/b/g/N/AC, AC Wave 2, and Wi-Fi 6, as well as wireless security. β€’ Experience conducting wireless site surveys, RF channel planning, and capacity planning. β€’ Proven ability to troubleshoot WLAN-related issues. β€’ Experience coordinating large temporary wireless deployments with multiple vendors in venues such as hotels and conference centers. β€’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. β€’ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. β€’ Ability to travel to domestic SAT Weekend test centers (Up to 30%). β€’ Ability to work weekends and overnight hours in support of SAT Weekend administrations. β€’ You are authorized to work in the United States.
