Description

• Serve as a resource for virtual health services development • Lead project planning sessions • Create system specific project plans • Monitor resource utilization and costs • Provides advanced system level support of multi-user virtual health applications • Develop, test and coordinate efforts for Virtual Health solutions • Analyze workflows and promote process changes • Work independently on all routine assignments • Prepare periodic status reports on project progress • Generate documents, charts and/or diagrams for business problems • Identify and manage project risks • Provide advanced technical assistance and support to end-users • Help identify, monitor and resolve system/application problems • Maintain and update vendor issues lists • Attend departmental meetings and promote excellent customer service • Enhance professional growth through educational opportunities • Comply with WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Required or Equivalent Required • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field Required • Minimum 10 years equivalent work experience in Healthcare in lieu of education will be considered. • Minimum 12 years work experience in healthcare information systems virtual health and/or project management Required • Experience/understanding of Interface (HL7), DICOM and other healthcare related standards Required • Experience working with network infrastructure Required • Experience with business development, business process redesign, benefits realization and project planning Required • Staff supervision experience strongly recommended.
