Description

• Responsible for growing commercial equipment sales in the Higher Education sector in assigned territory. • Conduct Market analysis and identify key customer targets. • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets in assigned territory. • Develop and maintain owner relationships with partners in larger school districts. • Use state procurement contracts and other sales tools to increase equipment sales. • Oversee Higher Education sales activities and resources within sales channels. • Collaborate with local Carrier Commercial Sales, Service, and Controls teams on sales strategies. • Track project activity. • Provide technical and product training to key customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 8+ years of commercial HVAC systems Account Management experience • Valid driver’s license • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business (preferred) • Public & private sector sales experience (preferred) • HVAC experience or knowledge of HVAC designs (preferred) • Experience in selling into Higher Education institutions (preferred) • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with customers (preferred) • Sense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication and sense of ownership (preferred) • Outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills (preferred) • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to prioritize (preferred) • Unwavering customer service orientation (preferred) • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (preferred)
