Description

• Oversee all aspects of revenue accounting functions including revenue recognition and allocations. • Build-out and refine global end-to-end processes for revenue, driving accuracy and operational efficiency. • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate revenue strategies maintaining compliance with GAAP standards. • Manage contract reviews to ensure revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP. • Lead month-end revenue close process including journal entries and reconciliations. • Develop and drive process improvements leveraging technology while maintaining internal controls. • Serve as subject matter expert on revenue accounting preparing documentation on new issues. • Collaborate with Billing, Technical Accounting, Treasury, Legal teams as well as Sales. • Proactive in resolving issues related to cash collections and application. • Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching accounting professionals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a revenue accounting role • 5+ years in a direct people leader role where you led revenue teams • 4+ years of direct experience in which you led or played a key role in operational efficiency • CPA or CMA with in-depth knowledge of ASC 606. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Expert knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles. • Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. • Demonstrated success in leading revenue teams through rapid growth with the ability to develop and execute effective strategies in a fast-paced environment.
