Description

• Oversee and direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual close in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations. • Assist in building and leading a service-oriented team and related processes and internal controls. • Ensure robust internal controls and take ownership of their design and efficiency. • Assess and proactively mitigate financial risks. • Partner with operational leaders to drive company-wide financial process improvements. • Ensure appropriate documentation of internal controls. • Identify areas of potential or real risks or gaps and develop remediation plans. • Identify and drive system enhancements for scalable financial operations. • Foster collaboration between departments to improve financial literacy. • Develop and mentor Accounting team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field is required. • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is required. • 10+ years of experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, and related areas with increasing leadership responsibilities. • 6+ years of experience managing/supervising staff within an Accounting group, with demonstrated success in upskilling employees. • Experience with NetSuite ERP system required, experience in implementing new systems preferred.
