• The Director of Strategic Accounts-Oncology will serve as the pivotal liaison for key strategic accounts. • This role entails comprehensive national/regional oversight of oncology group purchasing organizations and select strategic accounts (non-payor). • The incumbent will collaborate closely with market access, marketing, and sales teams, ensuring seamless communication and strategic alignment. • This position is instrumental in providing critical competitive intelligence within the assigned marketplace. • It contributes to the development of the overarching strategic plan for Catalyst Pharma. • Additionally, it drives the national brand strategy through cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders. • The role is a remote field-based position reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Sales.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA Preferred • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with documented experience in oncology • At least 3 years in market access segments such as reimbursement, health plans, distribution, or physician networks, or federal marketplace • Regional/National Account Management experience preferred, particularly within the Community Oncology GPO segment • Established existing relationships with customers within the GPO and distribution segment • Extensive understanding of relevant products, therapeutic areas, competitive landscape, and key market dynamics • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to work independently to execute strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines • Requires over 50% travel and frequent weekend meetings throughout the year to engage with customers, attend key medical meetings and congresses, and collaborate with both field based and home office colleagues • Valid driver's license is required
