Description

• cBEYONData is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Architect with strong problem-solving expertise to support a large Federal customer. • This exciting opportunity includes migrating additional customers to an existing cloud environment as well as improving the current environment through automation and orchestration. • The ideal candidate possesses broad cloud and AWS expertise while also being able to go deep into one or more areas. • This person will need to apply their skills by engineering and architecting solutions while working with peer teams and the customer. • A team player and strong communications skills are a must.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in an IT-discipline • Minimum 5+ year of Administration experience and technical knowledge of AWS platform and applications in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments • Proficient understanding of platform, network, security and storage components in a cloud environment working with VM Engines, Storage services and Network components such as Load Balancer, VPN etc. • AWS Services Experience: EC2, Cloud Formation, VPC, ELB, AWS Security, S3, RDS, EBS, ECS • Experience with Ansible, AWS console, Elastic, AWS, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket and various cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings • Strong understanding and experience with Active Directory • Excellent analytical skills and strong sense of ownership, accountability, and solution delivery urgency • Candidate must, at a minimum, have one of these certifications: Certified AWS SysAdmin, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, AWS Certified Security • Experience defining, documenting, and implementing governance approaches • Experience with Agile project methodologies • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Ability to come onsite once per week preferred (Ft. Belvoir, VA) • Secret clearance is required
