Description

• Support daily maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and network monitoring tools • Identify, diagnose and resolve basic network connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime to maintain SLA • Proactively monitor network performance to identify potential issues utilizing monitoring tools and protocols • Assist in resolving escalated network-related issues for end-users, ensuring quick response and client satisfaction • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on configurations, issues and processes • Assist in the design phase of the implementation of services, acting as a point of escalation for the NOC • Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of hardware and software updates • Collaborate with senior team members to implement new solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and gain hands-on experience with advanced networking knowledge and tasks • Support the service delivery team in equipment configuration and installation • Meet with vendor and client peers to determine needs and solutions throughout the relationship lifecycle • Required to be point of escalation for on-call responsibilities, including nights, weekends and holidays

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred • 1 – 3 years of relevant experience • Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, and Ethernet connectivity • Strong understanding of wireless technologies (Both line of site and non-line of site technologies) • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network design, Layer-2 connectivity, Internet, MPLS, SDWAN, fiber optics, microwave transmission, wireless mesh, and secure IP networking requirements including IPSec, GRE, SSL and VPN technologies • Strong understanding of CPE options to deliver CCR’s Product Portfolio • Experience working with multi-vendor infrastructure • Hands on experience developing, migrating, maintaining and troubleshooting telecom networks • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills • Dedicated customer service and support • Passion for helping people and creating a positive customer experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional demeanor • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities even with limited information, and make appropriate and timely decisions • Ability to work within a ticketing system documenting all transactions appropriately • Ability to exercise a high degree of good judgement and independence while evaluating emergency and non-emergency situations
