📋 Description

• This position performs the financial, planning and analysis functions for the workforce services portfolio. • The Federal Budget Analyst position tracks activity for programs throughout the year, and prepares invoicing related to these programs. • This position is responsible for preparing timely and accurate invoices for the workforce services based upon the agreement aligned with the jurisdiction. • This position will also be responsible for creating the annual budgets and providing forecasts partnering with the appropriate program leads. • In addition, this role is responsible for uploading the most recent budget and/or forecast into the financial system.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business, preferred. • 5-7 years of financial analysis experience within nonprofits is preferred. • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. • Very strong interpersonal skills, strong ability to build relationships as well as strong ability to work with all levels of internal staff and outside contacts. • Experience working with a general ledger accounting system, required. • Systems experience in NetSuite or another ERP system, strongly preferred. • Experience with Adaptive Insights and NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, strongly preferred. • High level proficiency in Excel, required. • Ability to work on tasks that require a high level of accounting knowledge but also a willingness to perform tasks that require no accounting knowledge and may be considered entry level work. • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner. • Ability to work independently are essential characteristics of this position.
