Description

• Leads the team that ensures the availability of IT services • Establishes and maintains a capacity and availability management strategy • Provides and allocates resources appropriately • Monitors, analyzes, understands, and reports on current and future demand for services • Responsible for leading and presenting projects and processes • Works with monitoring tools to ensure capacity and availability needs are met • Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques • Reviews and submits weekly, monthly & ad-hoc reporting on capacity and availability related incidents • Addresses performance-related issues from the standpoint of capacity and availability • Assesses the availability impact of new change requests • Ensures the successful, and timely resolution or initiation of resolution to detected capacity and availability issues • Oversees the capacity & availability plan for continuous improvements

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) • Requires 5 – 7 years of related experience • Experience with ITIL capacity and availability management • Capacity and availability monitoring • Knowledge in diagnosing problems to improve the availability of IT services • Performing analysis, reporting and presentation of capacity/availability related information to be used by end-users and technical groups • Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations • Experience with TrueSight or Helix highly preferred • Splunk query language experience preferred • FinOps or Cloud optimization experience preferred • Intermediate analytical skills • Ability to work independently • Excellent judgment and decision making skills
