📋 Description

• Responsible for handling minor medical treatment only Workers Compensation claims. • Ensure timely and accurate claims processing and superior customer service. • Accountable for accurate determination of proper amount due the claimant and medical providers. • Verify coverage and compensability issues and conduct limited investigations. • Make timely initial and ongoing contacts with involved parties, conducting investigations based on best practices guidelines. • Maintain proper file documentation on activities and issues. • Obtain and review medical records for necessity and relatedness. • Provide medical case management on ongoing treatment claims. • Prepare and submit appropriate state and agency forms timely. • Consult with manager for authority on activities and payments exceeding assigned limits.

🎯 Requirements

• College degree or equivalent related experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • General knowledge of workers compensation insurance and/or claims is a plus • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs • Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills • Good customer service mindset
