Description

• Oversee entire payroll process for 4 EINs, ensuring all employee payments are processed accurately and on time. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. • Manage payroll systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently. • Develops standard and custom reports for the purpose of payroll data analysis for various internal stakeholders. • Conducts payroll data quality audits and investigates discrepancies with appropriate stakeholders. • Manages the reconciliation process each pay period, quarterly and at year-end. • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during annual 401(k), Workers’ Compensation, and Payroll audits. • Lead, mentor, and develop the payroll associate, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. • Act as point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. • Collaborate with People Operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee benefits. • Oversee the preparation and submission of payroll tax filings, including quarterly and annual reports. • Liaison between firm and vendors (ADP and Fidelity) to ensure system functionality and service levels meet the firm’s current and ongoing needs. • Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in payroll management • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices • ADP Workforce Now Expertise, Workday Payroll implementation a plus • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. • Payroll system conversion & data migration • Payroll Process Automation • Team Leadership & Collaboration • Payroll Auditing & Reconciliation
