Description

• Adding a new role to our Client Accounting Services team! • Looking for a payroll expert to advise clients with complex payroll challenges. • Leveraging deep payroll knowledge and research skills to provide strategic guidance. • A good fit if provided payroll consulting to small to midsize companies across industries. • Need to be collaborative, adaptable, and an excellent communicator. • Heavy client communication will be involved, addressing problems and improving payroll processes. • Providing payroll software support, including onboarding new clients and troubleshooting issues. • The workload will be roughly 60% payroll and 40% bookkeeping initially. • Opportunity to help build an emerging practice area while supporting multiple entities.

Requirements

• Skilled in researching payroll legislation changes • Advising on compliance with federal, state, and local regulations • Comfortable using and learning multiple technology platforms, including payroll software like Gusto, Paychex, ADP, and/or Paylocity • Advanced level experience with QuickBooks Online is essential • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus • Experience in a midsize to large company with full-range benefits and multi-state payroll
