• Chevin Senior Business Analysts are subject matter experts that work with our customers to define software solutions to help customers achieve their business objectives. • Our Senior Business Analysts seek the simplest solution that will satisfy requirements, always striving to deliver a solution that will deliver the most rapid return on investment for the customer. • They are not afraid to challenge current practices and way of working. • This person employs best practices, Chevin implementation methodology, and superior communication skills to achieve timely results within scope and budget, while ensuring the highest degree of delivery quality and customer satisfaction. • Our Senior Business Analysts become knowledge leaders in how Fleetwave operates, demonstrate solid business acumen, show a genuine interest in how organizations operate, and – crucially – articulate how operations can be improved. • Any experience in the fleet industry and software delivery is a significant benefit to this role, but the ability to understand business problems and be credible in front of end users is more important. • A strong interest in technology is essential and our Senior Business Analysts have great skills in translating customer requirements into clear specifications, that our implementers and developers can work from.

Requirements

• Significant experience (5 years +) working on software implementation projects as a Business Analyst, ideally with the fleet or related industries. • Highly proficient in working with end users to understand their current business processes. • Ability to challenge existing practices and identify improvements. • Aptitude and drive to quickly develop a strong understanding of Chevin products and how they can be used to drive customer value. • Strong influencing and persuasion skills. • Confidence to facilitate workshops. • Understanding of Project Management skills-set. • Significant experience modelling business process (using BPMN/UML notation, for example). • Basic understanding of API protocols (e.g. REST, SOAP). • Excellent communication skills all round, including the ability to write crystal clear functional and technical specifications. • Strong critical thinking skills. • Detail oriented but with an efficient working style. • As a bonus you might have IT or business-related degree. • Demonstrable experience documenting requirements in the use case format. • Previous use of requirements management software packages (e.g. Case Complete, Enterprise Architect, Asana etc.). • Technical knowledge of web application architecture (HTML, JavaScript, SQL, CSS). • Familiarity with business accounting functions (e.g. accounts payable, accounts receivable etc.)
