📋 Description

• Lead by example and core values behavior in striving for a positive impact to customers (our developers) and the business in all deliverables. • Lead a team of engineers to optimize our engineering infrastructure platform. • Partner with our Product Manager and collaborate with engineering leaders and teams to understand their workflows, challenges, and wants. • Implement solutions that enhance the platform through common deployment processes and strategic foresight. • Work closely with platform engineers to design and deploy scalable, reliable infrastructure solutions. • Champion best practices and efficiency for infrastructure management, automation, and monitoring through continuous integration and development processes. • Involved in strategic plans to accomplish technical, as well as business goals. • Ensure team is current on technical knowledge and tools through active development planning and coaching. • Develop, track, and report key implementation metrics to drive a qualitative experience.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience. • 5+ years’ experience in Platform Engineering, 8+ years’ experience leading other engineers. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across many teams. • Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform as well as container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. • Deep understanding of cloud computing principles and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for driving continuous improvement within a micro service architecture working through agile or similar development methodologies.
