• Supports areas of drug safety, patient care, and decision support for Indian Health Services (IHS). • Works with healthcare professionals for compliance of prescribed drugs. • Collaborates with health care professionals to implement and refine clinical decision support systems. • Maintains customer satisfaction through effective communication and performance objectives.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. • Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred. • Experience working at a Pharmacy is required. • Experience working in a Federal Government environment is preferred. • Previous experience working with the Department of Health and Human Services especially with Food and Drug Administration, is preferred. • Strong knowledge on reviewing and interacting with an electronic medical record. • Knowledge of pharmacy rules and regulations, practices are desired. • Excellent communication skills. • Attention to detail and precision, with a high value on quality. • Excellent customer service skills. • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation). • Skilled proficiency in the use of Microsoft Windows and Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). • Detailed-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. • Solid organizational skills relevant to carrying out day-to-day responsibilities. • Ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment.
