Description

• We build tools used by thousands of development teams around the world. • We are a revenue-positive startup that cares about the details. • Work on our cloud-based capture system and help improve system design. • Seek someone passionate about building scalable, reliable backend systems. • Capture system is written in Go and Typescript, on AWS Fargate and Lambda. • You’ll be part of a team that builds APIs and systems for customers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of real-world experience building backend systems for web applications. • 3+ years of experience writing production APIs (bonus points for GraphQL). • Experience using Go, TypeScript, and Node.JS (It’s a plus if you have experience with other languages and Backend frameworks, too). • Experience with distributed computing tools such as Docker, Fargate and messaging systems. • Excellent technical communication skills and enthusiasm for writing things down. • Passionate about testing and experience using test-driven development. • Prefers simple solutions and designs over complex ones and has a good intuition for what will last and scale. • Bonus: Experience with an IaC tool like Terraform, and general AWS operations experience and knowledge. • Bonus: Experience with Visual Regression Testing and developing components in isolation (e.g., used Storybook, etc.).
