Description

• We are looking for a technology specialist to work as part of an Agile development team to test technology solutions related to new products and existing product enhancements. • The successful candidate will undertake testing in a way which maximises business efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• A degree level education or equivalent and/or relevant previous work experience. • Proven experience of working in an Agile development environment. • Knowledge and experience of how to manipulate data and prepare a test environment in line with acceptance criteria. • Experience of working with Given-When-Then syntax for acceptance criteria. • Knowledge and experience of conducting testing within a development environment. • A good technical understanding of Agile development • Ability to understand the functionality within Cifas’ systems and quickly develop an expert knowledge. • Aptitude in using SQL to interrogate the Cifas databases to determine acceptance criteria outcomes. • Experience using API software such as ReadyAPI and Postman. • Collaboration skills and the ability to work as part of a team. • Excellent communication skills, able to explain concepts to people at differing technical levels. • Proven problem-solving and innovation skills. • Ability to collaborate across third party suppliers as well as teams in the business. • Experience of using automated web-UI testing packages, such as Selenium WebDriver or Cypress, is highly desirable.
