Description

• Provides guidance, technical support, and training to regional travel coordinators and travelers. • Has expert knowledge and is a strong advocate of the corporate travel policy and compliance. • Participates in all regional travel management company (agency) operations calls and onsite meetings (if local) between TMC and local TC or office manager within each country. • Provides recommendation for issue resolution. • Supports and liaises with all regional travel suppliers on issue resolution (i.e. traveler complaints, hotel billing issues, agency invoicing issues, car rental accidents, etc.). • Updates issues log with new issues and resolutions. • Develop and run scheduled and ad-hoc reports from all travel-related systems. • Provide local / regional hotel recommendations for global hotel program. • Participates or leads special projects as requested. • Escalate issues as required to Global Travel Operations Supervisor. • Monitor unused tickets and action exchange process with travel agency to prevent loss of funds. • Record air, car, hotel savings and upload quarterly to designated platform. • Maintain the Global Travel intranet site. • Provide secondary support for Concur Request and Travel tools. • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Travel Industry terms and concepts. • Knowledge of account and operations management, sales, and implementation. • Highly effective problem-solving skills. • Strategic relationship management skills and conflict resolution. • Ability to work independently, developing strategies and action plans for implementation of goals and objectives. • Ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong project and organizational skills. • Must be able to produce accurate and effective documents, spreadsheets, presentations and other materials as needed. • Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with suppliers, travelers, travel coordinators, leadership and the Global Travel team. • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS SharePoint) and e-mail skills required.
