Description

• Produce and maintain the Linux Kernel for Rocky Linux • Familiar with kernel support including real-time, embedded, and virtualization • Define software requirements with the Development team • Lead operational and technical projects • Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel components • Collaborate with cross-functional teams • Write high-quality, modular code in C • Optimize kernel code and device drivers • Debug complex kernel-level issues • Collaborate with hardware engineers for seamless integration • Stay updated with advancements in Linux kernel • Review code submissions and provide feedback • Conduct performance analysis of kernel components • Document design decisions, APIs, and processes • Provide mentorship to junior developers

Requirements

• Passion for Linux and open source software • Proficiency in C programming • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills • In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals • Familiarity with hardware platforms and architectures • Strong problem solving and analytical skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Self motivated and able to work independently
