• The Data Quality Analyst will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of our data by developing and implementing data governance strategies. • Identify data quality issues and drive continuous improvement. • Work closely with Data Engineering to onboard new carrier and self-insured clients, validating customer data and ensuring proper ETL. • Leverage your advanced knowledge of property and casualty claims data to identify the best usage of structured and unstructured claims data in current and future products. • Utilize integration skillset to develop and implement API/scripting to obtain and process customer data. • Assist in the design and implementation of solutions leveraging reporting, dashboarding and other data visualization techniques to provide analytical insights on existing data quality. • Collaborate with engineering, data science and other teams regarding strategies to deliver timely feedback on model predictions and data quality to our clients. • Integrate governance practices across the organization to ensure data integrity and accuracy. • Lean heavily on technical and process solutions to solve problems in scalable and sustainable ways. • Participate in efforts to develop rules around data standardization and see them through to implementation. • Identify gaps in the quality assurance and testing processes, generate solutions, and drive continuous improvement. • Work directly with clients to evaluate their data, map it appropriately for model consumption and testing the data output in user interface before release to production. • Contribute in an agile, collaborative, and fast paced environment.
• 5+ years of experience working in or supporting the P&C insurance industry with emphasis on commercial auto • Experience in claims systems data integration, including Guidewire’s ClaimCenter • Detailed knowledge of insurance principles, terminology, customs and practices in Auto, General Liability and/or Workers’ Compensation (multiple lines preferred) • Highly motivated individual who is adept at working independently and comfortable collaborating across teams • Proficient in evaluating claims data to identify trends and anomalies • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to listen to customer needs, translate them into actionable solutions and take ownership of ensuring timely resolution • Extensive experience constructing narratives with data • Proficient in SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) • Demonstrated ability to concisely present and communicate complex information to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives • Skilled in developing working relationships and interacting effectively with all levels of the organization • Experience with analytics tools (Informatica Cloud, Athena, Alteryx, Superset, Excel, etc.) • Ability to quickly adapt to new or changing situations, requirements, or priorities
