• Manage 1-2 Product Sales Managers and collaborate with Account Managers • Develop and execute sales strategy to drive new business and renewals • Focus on new business, uncover opportunities and create target lists • Responsible for weekly forecasting and reporting against key sales initiatives • Engage in day-to-day management of the team including training & development of staff • Interface with Revenue and business unit leadership as needed • Attend conferences, exhibitions, seminars and customer appointments to support sales

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field; OR equivalent work experience • 7 years of experience leading demonstrations, trainings, and presentations • 7 years of experience articulating value propositions for specialty product(s) and responding to inquiries about product functionality • 7 years of proven track record of successful technology and/or online content sales • 3 years of experience leading sales teams • Strong collaborating skills with the ability to work well in a highly matrixed environment • Ability to analyze, compare, evaluate, reconcile and draw meaningful conclusions and action plans from data to develop sales strategy. • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to reach resolution and maintain strong relationships. • High level of enthusiasm, with strong influencing and negotiation skills • Strong working knowledge of SalesForce.com and other programs relevant to the role. • Advanced degree in Library Science or related field.
