Description

• Leading the financial operations of Clean Energy Fund of Texas • Oversee development and implementation of financial strategies • Architect financial reporting mechanisms and track progress toward organizational goals • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures • Manage banking and financial advisory relationships • Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team • Function as the risk manager • Prepare financial reporting to comply with GAAP and GASB • Make capital allocation decisions

Requirements

• 10+ years of management experience in financial management positions • 5+ years’ experience with non-profit accounting and finance • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) • Extensive track record of accounting and financial reporting, including fund and loan accounting • Demonstrated expertise in financial, audit, compliance, and risk management • Working knowledge of GAAP, GASB, and other authoritative pronouncements • Demonstrated flexible and effective interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively, exercising good judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills • 2+ years’ experience leading a team • Passion for clean energy and a commitment to advancing sustainability and environmental stewardship
