• The VP, National Category Development is a business development role. • Focused on developing deep client and agency strategy relationships. • Open new revenue channels and grow spend from existing key advertising categories. • Requires an extensive understanding of the agency strategy and planning process. • Work alongside our national and regional sales teams. • Promote scalable solutions for clients. • Ensure customer satisfaction by facilitating all aspects of the customer's account. • Generate plans to define business strategies and tactics. • Exceed revenue growth targets on an annual basis. • Identify incremental opportunities for CCO within the existing auto customer base.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience. • Four (4) + years of senior-level direct client marketing experience in the automotive vertical. • Progressive sales experience and success using consultative, customer needs analysis methods. • Media sales experience in auto, and Detroit market preferred. • Proven ability to consistently generate new business. • Demonstrated track record of driving growth. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
