Description

• Lead a team of energy engineers to support the delivery of energy efficiency programs • Promote opportunities for professional development of team members • Manage client relationships both internally and externally • Provide strategic guidance and prioritization of tasks to ensure program and regional goals are achieved effectively • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of energy efficiency industry, including energy efficient technology, programs and policies • Provide performance reports and consult on potential improvements to increase team performance • Develop strategies to achieve organizational goals and adapt strategies to respond to changing conditions • Provide technical knowledge to explain complex issues to internal and external parties • Understand applicability of building codes and federal equipment standards to program offerings • Review projects using energy modeling software (such as eQUEST, Energy Plus, IES-VE, and/or others) to demonstrate energy savings • Advance the technical capabilities of team members • Build productive relationships with internal leadership and with external clients, partners, and program participants • Represent the company as a technical resource both inside and outside the organization

Requirements

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Architectural, or other) • 5+ years’ experience in commercial energy engineering • 2+ years’ experience in people management • Professional Engineer preferred • Project Management experience preferred
