• Code.org is looking for a Director of Product Management who is passionate about building world class user experiences and products that deliver the most popular K-12 Computer Science and AI curriculum to students and educators around the world. • In this role, you will drive the development and delivery of a suite of products used by students, teachers, partner organizations, curriculum writers, and administrators all in service of teaching students Computer Science and AI. • You will be leading a team of talented Product Managers and working closely with the engineering, design, data, support, teaching and learning, and marketing teams to deliver experiences that delight and inspire students and educators. • Embrace the organization’s strategy, cross-team priorities, and goals. • Be the expert on the landscape and market for Computer Science education products. • Be the expert on student and teacher needs, use cases, and behaviors. • Lead the product management team in executing the product roadmap towards organizational and product goals with an accountable and learning mindset.
• At least 5+ years of experience managing a team of product managers • At least 8 years of experience product managing online consumer products • Experience designing user experiences for non-tech savvy consumers • Experience using data to make decisions • Taken computer science courses or have experience with programming • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Strong technical background • Experience building and maintaining partnerships with other teams/organizations • Teaching or volunteering experience in K-12 classrooms • Experience using programming tools designed for students • Experience building programs or products for underrepresented communities • Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident • Be located in the United States • Pass a pre-employment background check • Be willing to travel a minimum of two times per year for team events
