Description

• CodePath is a national non-profit reprogramming higher education for diverse software engineers. • The Director of Engineering Education will shape the educational strategy at CodePath. • This role maximizes student achievement through evolving instructional models. • Collaborate with teams in curriculum, learning design, and program management. • Design and measure innovative experiments to improve learning outcomes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in teaching computer science or related technical topics at the post-secondary level. • 4+ years of experience working as a software engineer with demonstrated performance contributing to large projects. • Proven ability to design, test, and implement innovative instructional strategies that enhance student technical readiness, engagement, and mastery. • Experience conducting instructional experiments and using data-driven insights to refine teaching methods and scale effective practices across large student populations. • Strong understanding of the software engineering industry, including current trends, tools, and industry-standard practices. • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration. • Exceptional communication skills. • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Strong project management skills. • Ability to influence and lead across departments. • Have enthusiasm for and belief in our mission and vision.
