But if you want to build the future alongside others who excel in their disciplines and expect the same from you, there’s no better place to be. • We’re looking to hire a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join one of our teams within the Platform Product Group. The Platform Product Group’s mission is to build a trusted, scalable, and compliant platform to maximize velocity, efficiency and quality. They build the foundations that can be used by multiple products and teams at Coinbase so that users can have a consistent and high-quality experience. • FinHub is at the core of Coinbase, processing and recording fund movements for our clients and our business. We are responsible for processing transactions across crypto, fiat and internal wallet, and managing the assets for our users including providing portfolio performance, user tax optimizations etc. With rapid growth of the industry and the company, our scale and complexity of operations quickly surpassed the original design of typical ledgering systems. Currently, we are taking on a challenge to unlock the next level of evolution for fund movements architecture.

🎯 Requirements

• 12 + years of experience in backend software engineering using Golang or similar languages • Domain expertise in FinTech and / or trading • Proven track record of delivering impactful solutions that power significant fund flows • You’ve designed, built, scaled and maintained high throughput and low latency production services • You’ve experience in architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact • Strong technical knowledge of building distributed systems that process massive scale • Solid communication skills, ability to communicate to stakeholders with various technical and non-technical backgrounds • Relentless drive to set and perseverance to achieve ambitious goals • Passion for building an open financial system that brings the world together
