Description
• You will be responsible for overseeing financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth trajectory. • Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are recorded. • Complete regular reconciliation of accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies. • Prepare and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS) quarterly, ensuring compliance with ATO requirements. • Manage weekly/monthly payroll, process employee wages, and handle superannuation contributions. • Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation. • Manage Small-Scale Technology Certificates (STCs) transactions, maintaining compliance and accurate documentation. • Generate monthly financial reports, providing insights on key financial metrics. • Contribute to budget forecasts, assisting in financial planning and strategy. • Support the management team by preparing cash flow and profitability projections.
Requirements
• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, with comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles. • Experience with XERO is highly preferred. • Familiarity with Australian tax and payroll regulations. • Prior experience in the Australian solar industry or similar field is a strong advantage (only a plus but not required) • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Excellent communication and reporting skills. • High level of integrity and accountability.
