• Work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives while managing and mitigating legal risks. • Provide legal support to U.S. Deputy General Counsel in connection with litigation and other potential and active disputes. • Manage external counsel including effective budget management. • Collaborate with business colleagues and members of the legal team and contract managers to draft, review, and manage day-to-day sales, procurement, and other commercial agreements. • Review sales and marketing materials to ensure legal compliance and adequate substantiation. • Provide employment law support to human resources colleagues and Chief Compliance Officer. • Collaborate with cross-functional legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and practices that comply with applicable laws and regulations. • Conduct training sessions and provide educational resources to employees and managers on legal matters to promote legal awareness and compliance within the organization.

Requirements

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school • Admission to the bar in the state of New Jersey or another state, and eligible for in-house counsel registration. • Five (5) or more years of experience as an attorney, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, or a related industry, with a focus on litigation and employment law. • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state laws and regulations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and group presentation skills. • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal advice and counsel to global business partners within varied functions and global business units • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior.
