Description

• Coordinate design and pre-construction services • Manage and facilitate collaborative design with stakeholders • Oversee daily management of construction projects • Monitor and coordinate vendor and subcontractor work • Prepare project plans and evaluate progress • Review and interpret designs for compliance • Authorize contracts and manage billing processes • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Construction Management or Structural / Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent experience • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural steel construction • Understanding of commercial construction processes • Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on experience • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Leadership abilities to manage direct / indirect reports • Ability to make key decisions and consult when needed • Excellent time management skills • Strong negotiation skills • Proficient with Tekla Structures and other software tools • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
