Description

• Responsible for providing pre-sales support in a cloud hosting environment • Subject matter expert on RapidScale solutions • Direct customer interaction on sales opportunities • Validate quotes and produce supporting diagrams • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams • Mentor SE team members and build proof of concepts • Participate in leadership of projects and enhancements

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience in IT with a BS/BA degree or 10+ years in lieu of a degree • 3+ years of experience in pre-sales support • 2+ years of IT leadership experience is a major advantage • Excellent communication skills • Strong problem resolution and conflict management skills • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems • Working knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies • Understanding of IP addressing, routing protocols, and security solutions • Working knowledge of compliance frameworks • Familiarity with virtualization technologies
