📋 Description
• We’re seeking a Solutions Architect to improve human health through computational methods. • Work with customers and scientists to deploy and configure molecular modeling applications. • Maintain scientific computing resources in complex software environments. • Ensure enterprise software performs optimally in customer cloud environments. • Help customers solve technical issues with creative solutions.
🎯 Requirements
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes technologies on major cloud providers (GCP or AWS) • Significant research data management background in the pharmaceutical industry (or similar scientific data space) • Robust Linux experience (and proficiency in a scripting language like bash or Python) • An interest in life sciences and/or physics (a formal academic background in the classical sciences is a plus!) • A significant background in research informatics involving scientific data (preferred) • Clear grasp of Networking concepts (e.g,. DNS, routing, firewalls,VPCs, NAT gateways) (preferred) • A greater-than-end-user's understanding of HPC systems (preferred) • Willingness for occasional travel to Schrödinger's offices and customer sites within the US (preferred)
