📋 Description
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve insurance claims related to environmental damage • Analyze coverage and assess liability • Negotiate settlements and manage legal defense strategies • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations • Collaborate with underwriting on marketing and portfolio management • Calculate claim reserves • Manage consultants and contractors during claims process • Identify and implement cost-saving measures • Communicate with policyholders, brokers, and internal stakeholders • Oversee a portfolio of claims and prioritize critical cases • Analyze claims portfolio performance and recommend strategies
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree required • Juris Doctorate preferred • Minimum of 5 years’ experience required • Extensive knowledge of environmental laws and regulations • Proven experience in managing complex insurance claims • Strong negotiation skills • Strong interpersonal skills
