Description

• Installation and configuration of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 12c environments on RHEL 7 and RHEL 8; • Creation of users and roles in multiple environments; • Deployment of the RDP repository; • Maintaining existing and future OBIEE 12c / OAS (Oracle Application Server) environments on RHEL 7 and RHEL 8; • Applying patches to fix bugs, add new functionality and features, schedule maintenance, and installing of maintenance releases; • Installing, upgrading and configuring OBIEE/OAS on RHEL 7 and RHEL 8; • Utilize understanding of Weblogic and Fusion middleware administration using the Weblogic Console; • Monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM); • Single Sign-on integration; • Apply and update quarterly security Stigs for Apache and Weblogic servers. • Coordination with cross infrastructure teams such as Database Administrators, and Redhat System Administration team; • Creating schedules and cutover plans for major upgrades and complex patches; • Cloning of instances for test environments and disaster recovery; • Understanding of design, installation, configuration, and administration of OBIEE/OAS in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure; • Participate in design and staff meetings. The administrator will be required to attend regularly scheduled team and planning meetings; • Staying abreast of the standards and best practices of OBIEE administration, reporting/dashboards, and data analytics; • Perform as the lead in troubleshooting and analyzing production OBIEE administration issues, including documentation of the root cause and any configuration changes required to resolve; • Lead efforts for new implementations, enhancements and production support; • Create service requests with Oracle and work with developers, DBAs and Oracle to resolution; • Coordinate any production migrations of administrative configurations ensuring proper audit protocols are followed; • Review patch releases and make recommendations on any system enhancements; • Develop desk procedures and documentation.

Requirements

• Clearance: Must posses and maintain an active Secret Clearance/Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance. • High School Diploma • IAT Level II certification required (CompTIA Security + or equivalent). • 6 years administration of OBIEE or similar system. • 3 years Experience with Weblogic 12c. • 3 years Experience with Linux RHEL 7 and RHEL 8.
