Description

• Responsible for technical oversight and management of design for solar and energy storage projects • Deliver best product to clients through coordination with multiple teams • Review scopes of work, negotiate design firms, provide technical support • Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from accredited university • 8+ years of experience in Photovoltaic and BESS designs, AC (LV, MV & HV) electrical design and power system modelling both executing on and mentoring an engineering team. • 5+ years managing the technical offering for the Electrical Design on projects. • 5+ years of experience with scope of work reviews, cost estimates, scheduling, subcontractor/vendor selection and contract reviews. • Previous experience with track record of success in managing, leading and building a team of Engineers and CAD Engineers required. • Strong understanding of all relevant codes and experience working with utilities across the USA • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills • The ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects is a must. • Experience drafting or reviewing engineering services contracts. • Must be able to identify problems, find and develop solutions, make decisions, and execute them effectively. • Proficiency in AutoCAD • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint • PE License is a plus.
