• Define application, component and infrastructure architecture independently or in consultation with senior architects. • Guide the team or independently analyses, designs and codes software according to requirement specifications. • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, or other forms of team quality procedures. • Communicate with clients to understand requirements and provide technical solutions based on business value. • Make design decisions, work delegation, and assign tickets to other team members. • Resolve assigned trouble tickets. • As needed, consult peers and senior architects and management on issues. • Assist in Release Management, Configuration Management, Build Management, Stream Management and Ticket Management as required. • Define test strategy, processes and tools usage. • Supports System Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and provides timely resolutions to problems encountered. • Operate as a full working member of the team, participating in reaching consensus and providing guidance to junior level members. • Adheres to company’s software development standards and procedures. • Work with support and operations teams to ensure successful deployment and operation of their application and ongoing operational activities. • Respond to high severity production issues escalated by our operations teams along with root cause analysis. • Define processes/tools and participates in test driven development, Agile development, continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), DevOps automation. • Contribute to the Development and DevOps community by way of best practices and training the wider team. • Comprehend customers security and data policies and ensure adherence. • Evaluate new solution, product, 3rd party and open sources. • Participates and guides the team members in innovation related activities i.e., idea generation, idea reviews, proof-of-concept and implementation.
• 8-15 years of experience as mentor/lead, Developer, DevOps Engineer or equivalent role, in medium to large scale projects • Proficiency in English in a business environment is a must • Ability to optimize algorithms, develop and review code, debug and performance tune code, and document. • Team leadership skills to exchange ideas and create a common understanding of project work from conception through issue resolution. • Skilled at analyzing client requirements and complex system use cases. • Ability to prioritize effectively through good judgement, seeking guidance where appropriate. • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing technologies and team environment. • Knowledge of Software Development life Cycle and SAFE Agile Development Framework • Experience working in product implementation projects. • Should have handled scoping, analysis, design, delivery, release management and UAT. • Communication skills to understand and clarify complex instructions. • Prepares and presents topics at different abstraction levels and to different stakeholders. • Skills to complete low-level designs/high level designs. • Experience in automating development or test or deployment processes. • Creativity when researching or solving a situation.
