β€’ The successful Business Analyst will work with customers and multiple stakeholders to generate requirements, document functional specifications, and develop user stories to guide our project team in developing commercial-grade Homebuilder ERP software. β€’ They will demonstrate the ability to differentiate requests from the underlying requirements to communicate the ideas for a modern and effective user experience. β€’ This position will allow a talented and enthusiastic candidate with experience in the homebuilding industry the opportunity to play an integral role in shaping the direction of existing and future Constellation HomeBuilder Systems products. β€’ The Business Analyst’s responsibilities include utilizing their experience to: Research and facilitate decision-making in product strategies, in response to competitive dynamics and parallel products. β€’ Work closely with customers to understand their business, desires, and obstacles β€’ Develop user stories and features, to guide the development team on customer needs, and to provide guidance for an efficient user experience that customers want β€’ Act as a prime intermediary between the customer and developers, advocating for the product internally to turn product vision into reality. β€’ Work collaboratively as part of the software development team: create everything from high-level workflows to functional specifications, reproduction steps, wireframes, report layouts, proof of concepts, and user interfaces β€’ Collaborate with all stakeholders and project team members to find ways to accelerate deliveries, with transparent tracking β€’ Deliver engaging product presentations that solicits feedback and generates buy-in β€’ Pro-actively support the long-term roadmap, involving R&D, sales, marketing, customer success, clients, and other groups.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Work experience in the homebuilding industry, ideally within Homebuilder scheduling, warranty, and purchasing. β€’ Ability to effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale verbally and in written form β€’ Previous experience in brand-creation or creation of software specifications β€’ Rigorous attention to detail β€’ Ability to prioritize and manage work to project timelines in a fast-paced software development environment β€’ A self-starter who can work effectively both independently and in a team across geographies
