• About the role: Market Leader Inc. is looking for a Sales Manager, Agent Business Unit to lead a team of Account Executives. • The Sales Manager at Market Leader will foster an environment of continuous improvement while developing and inspiring his / her team to improve sales performance in a way that supports our mission statement and values. • In this very fast paced environment, your role would be to manage and lead the daily activities of Account Executives engaged in promoting and selling Market Leader’s services via phone. • You will recommend changes to current sales techniques or procedures based on team performance. • You will work to increase revenue of your team goals while maintaining a healthy focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and survival. • Manage, develop, and lead a team of Account Executives • Meet or exceed established sales targets, goals, and initiatives • Help recruit and grow the team - partner with Talent Acquisition Coordinator and Director of Sales • Actively participate in the interview and selection process of future talent/team members • Highly focused on career and personal development as well as being a mentor to team members • Effectively maintain sales staff job results by developing, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. • A primary function of this role will be listening and monitoring phone calls of Account Executives with the goal of coaching, skill set development, quality assurance, and any other job-related tasks. • Must be comfortable disciplining where appropriate based off agreed upon sales messaging from Director of Sales • Create a professional, fun, and rewarding work environment.
• Strong leadership, communication in both verbal and written, organization, team building, management • Growth mindset – demonstrate a strong desire to improve yourself and be an excellent messenger • 5+ years working in a leadership capacity and/or 2+ years of Sales Management experience with a strong preference towards the SaaS world • Passionate about team building and creating an inclusive, transparent, metrics and merit-based culture • Seek out criticism and demonstrate the ability to apply feedback • Passionate about mentorship, self-development, and helping others achieve their stated goals and desires • Open minded and adaptable to changing sales processes – a desire to understand emotional intelligence in sales
