📋 Description
• The Executive Director of Nursing will lead the nursing team within our specialty infusion pharmacy • Oversees all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring exceptional, evidence-based care • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, strategic planning, quality improvement, regulatory compliance • Ensures optimal patient outcomes • Provides strategic direction and leadership to the nursing team • Fosters a positive work environment emphasizing teamwork and collaboration • Develops and implements nursing protocols, policies, and procedures • Monitors nursing services and pharmacy operations for compliance • Advocates for patients by coordinating access to medications and insurance • Serves as a liaison between nursing department, pharmacy team, and management
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required • Master’s degree in nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred • At least 7-10 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a home or specialty infusion pharmacy, healthcare, or managed care environment. • Strong knowledge of specialty medications, biologics, immunotherapy, infusion therapies, and other complex treatment modalities. • Proven experience in developing and managing clinical protocols, patient education programs, and quality improvement initiatives. • Certification in Immune Globulin Therapy (IgCN) preferred • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required; Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure is preferred. • Board certification in a relevant clinical nursing specialty (e.g., Infusion Therapy) preferred. • CPR/ACLS certification required.
