Description
• The Principal Network Engineer is a hands-on senior level technical role • Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing highly complex network infrastructures • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of enterprise systems • Provide strategic technical leadership and oversee large-scale projects • Mentor other network engineers
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field • 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role • Proven experience in designing and managing enterprise-level networks (data center, WAN/LAN, cloud) • Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable • Strong expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies • Proficiency with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software • Experience with network security technologies i.e., VPNs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems • Experience with network monitoring and management tools • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor network team engineers • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms • Ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues and lead problem-resolution efforts
