β’ Measure the existing markets and company's share. β’ Identify new markets and the need for new products. β’ Expand share of market with existing and new accounts. β’ Develop sales strategies that will produce maximum market penetration. β’ Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings. β’ Responsible for meeting assigned revenue objectives. β’ Formulate sales policies. β’ Establish and maintains close personal contact with top echelon customers. β’ Ensure the effective use of the sales accountability program throughout the division. β’ Interpret long and short-term effect on sales strategies in operating profit. β’ Establish sales training program.
β’ Must have established industry contacts and experience selling in the territory. β’ Degree in Engineering or similar Technical Certificate required. β’ Minimum 5 years outside sales experience selling Pressure Relief Valves is required. β’ Experience in managing independent distributor network required. β’ Strong Computer skill required. β’ Strong understanding of fluid and/or process systems. β’ Confidence and experience in the delivery of presentations. β’ Experience in development and executing business plans. β’ Experienced in qualifying sales opportunities, negotiating and closing the sale. β’ Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. β’ Must combine a strong personality with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
